4.4.7 Wheels
Prevention Measures for Wheel
Failure
- To cross over curbs or similar obstacles,
slow down your vehicle and drive in the
vertical direction of the obstacle.
- Prevent the tires from touching grease,
oil and fuel.
- Regularly check the condition of the tire
for cuts, cracks or bulges, and remove
the foreign objects in the tire tread.
Tire Storage Conditions
- Make a mark on the tire to indicate the
direction of rotation before removing the
tire. Re-install the tire according to the
mark to keep the direction of rotation of
the wheel and the dynamic balance state
unchanged.
- Store the removed wheel and tire in a
cool and dry place. You’d better store
them in a shaded place without direct
sunlight.
- Let the tire uninstalled to the wheel sit
upright.
New Tires
New tire must be run in.
The new tire tread pattern depth depends on
tire brand, model and type.
