6. Accident Handling

Note

•

Tighten them in accordance with di

agonal sequence.

•

Wheel bolt tightening torque is

125±1

3 N

·m.

•

If you finish, have the wheel bolt

torque checked at your dealer.

•

When replacing the wheel, if any

bolt rusts or is difficult to be tight

ened, be sure to replace the bolt

checking the bolt torque and clean

the threaded holes. and clean the

threaded holes.

Warning

Keep the threads of the wheel bolts and

hub clean, and make sure the nuts can be

screwed easily. No grease or other attach-

ment is permitted.

Precautions for changing a flat tire

•

Install the flat tire into the flat tire well

timely.

•

Clean the tools and store the tools in the

tool kit case.

•

Check the wheel bolts torque as soon as

possible.

•

Change the damaged tire as soon as

possible.

•

When replacing the tire, if any nut is cor

roded or difficult to loosen, replace it be

fore checking the wheel nut torque, and

clean the threaded hole.

Note

Be sure to secure the spare tire/emergen-

cy tire or the flat tire in the trunk reliably.
