4. Maintenance
Note
Do not add other additives to your ve-
hicle’s coolant additive.
• Do not mix the original coolant addi-
tive with other un-recognized cool-
ant. Doing so may cause serious
damage to the engine and its cool-
ing system.
• If the coolant in the expansion tank
becomes faded and the coolant
is not mixed with other coolant of
other color, change the coolant as
per the Owner’s Manual.

Gather and dispose of the used coolant
and additives in accordance with the en-
vironmental protection laws and regula-
tions.

Driving speed
Under normal traveling condition, the instru-
ment scale points at middle position. When en-
gine runs at heavy load and the ambient tem-
perature is high, the coolant temperature may
rise and the scale reading increases. When the
coolant temperature is high, warning lamp im-
mediately lights up (
please refer to page 38
),
to remind or warn the driver to immediately car-
ry out relevant operation. At this moment, stop
the car and turn off the engine. Inspect coolant
level (
please refer to page 312
).
