3. Driving Directions

Hint

For a model with G-DCT transmission, pay

attention to the following when in use:

•

When running into traffic lights, we

recommend you try to shift in N and

apply the brake to save fuel.

•

In urban congestion, when ad

vancing at low speed in a stop-go

manner, we recommend you avoid

repeated hard acceleration and

sudden stop to save fuel and move

smoothly and to protect the clutch

better.

Note

Vehicle model with G-DCT transmission:

•

On urban congested roads and

mountain roads, after prolonged

traveling, if you smell foreign taste

from the clutch, this is a normal

phenomenon. Do not worry about

that foreign taste which will disap-

pear in improved road conditions.

•

The transmission is provided with

overload protection. When the

clutch overheats, the instrument

cluster gives a warning message.

Then, drive in manual mode instead

of automatic mode unless the warn-

ing message disappears. If the

warning message still exists, stop

your vehicle in a safe place. Do not

drive until the warning message dis-

appears.

•
