3. Driving Directions

Shift lever lock release (applicable

to some models)

OMA28-0167

Exert parking brake.

To shut off the engine, turn the igni-

tion switch or start switch to "LOCK " or

"OFF".

Put cloth around the shift lever cap, and

pry and raise the shift panel with a flat

head screwdriver in the direction of ar-

row.

OMA28-0207

To move the shift lever into "N" position

from "P" position, press the shift unlock

switch (1) and press the release button

on the front end of the shift lever.

Install the cover of shift lever. Step the

brake pedal and start the engine.

Hint

If the shift lever can't be moved from "P"

position, please use manual release of

shift lever to unlock it.

Note

If the Shift Lock Release is needed, this

indicates something is wrong with the ve-

hicle. Go to the company's Vehicle sales

service store to examine Vehicle immedi-

ately.
