this command display PIM-SM candidate-RP table information.

Group Address: 

This field specifies the IP multicast group address. 

Group Mask: 

This field specifies the multicast group address subnet mask. 

Address: 

This field displays the IP address of the Candidate-RP. 

Hold Time: 

This field displays the hold time of a Candidate-RP. 

Expiry Time: 

This field displays the minimum time remaining before the Candidate-RP will 

be declared down. 

Component: 

This field displays a number which uniquely identifies the component. Each 

protocol instance connected to a separate domain should have a different index value. 
 
If the “

candidate” 

parameter is specified the follow fields are displayed: 

Group Address: 

This field specifies the IP multicast group address. 

Group Mask: 

This field specifies the multicast group address subnet mask. 

Address: 

This field displays the IP address of the Candidate-RP. 

 

 

7.31.1.7  show ip pimsm rphash 

This command displays the RP router that will be selected from the set of active RP routers. 
The RP router, for the group, is selected by using the hash algorithm defined in RFC 2362.

show ip pimsm rphash <group-address>
