Save Configuration :
Click to save configuration, the running configuration will be written to flash memory for
system boot up to load this startup configuration file.
19-1.2 Backup
This section describes how to export the Switch Configuration for maintenance needs. Any
current configuration files will be exported as text format.
The configuration files on the switch can be backed up and saved on the station running the
web browser.
It is possible to transfer any of the files on the switch to the web browser. Select the
running-config may take a little while to complete, as the file must be prepared before
backup.
Web Interface
To backup configuration in the web interface:
1. Click Maintenance, Configuration and Backup.
2. Click Backup.

Parameter description:
running-config :
A virtual file that represents the currently active configuration on the switch. This file is
volatile.
startup-config :
The startup configuration for the switch, read at boot time.
default-config :
A read-only file with vendor-specific configuration. This file is read when the system is
restored to default settings.
