NOTICE!
Housing degree of protection voided due to insufficient sealing of the housing. Screw
in the thread without using lubricant. The cover threads are coated with a dry lubricant.
Screw the connection compartment cover closed and tighten the securing clamp.
To remove a cable from the terminal, use a slotted screwdriver to push the slot between the
two terminal holes while simultaneously pulling the cable end out of the terminal.

Minimum terminal voltage
Depending on the current value, the following minimum values for the terminal voltage (U
ter
) must
be observed:
• For 22 mA: U

14 V
• For 3.6 mA: U

18 V
Calculation of the maximum load
The following dependencies on the external supply voltage (U
S
) apply when calculating the
maximum permitted load (R
B
) including a power resistor for the HART protocol:
• For U
S
= 18 to 18.8 V: R
B
£
(U
S
- 18 V)
:
3.6 mA
• For U
S
= 18.8 to 25 V: R

(U

:
22 mA
• For U
S
= 25 to 30 V: R

Sample calculation
For U
S
= 19.5 V, the maximum load is: R
