•  The cable guide provides two control options.  

One close to the lever and one near the belt 
drive. . 

 

•  Remove the M6 lock nut (10 mm spanner) and rotate the control guide counter-clockwise a few 

times.  Use a spanner (size 9) if necessary. 

•  Next, test the belt tension, and adjust as needed. 
•  Afterwards, secure the lock nuts tightly so that vibrations cannot cause the setting to become 

distorted again. 

After performing this maintenance, the belt covers can be remounted like they originally were.

11.4.4  Belt replacement

After many hours of operation, the belts may wear and require replacement.  Replacement parts 
must always be obtained from an authorised ELIET dealer.

Follow the procedure below for replacing the belts:

Caution 

:  

Belt tightening or replacement must be done with the motor switched off.  
Remove the key from the starter lock as a precaution.
