Practical Use of the PR-1000HD —
Making the Settings for the Project

Changing Material Settings
You can change material names, copy and delete materials, and perform other tasks.
To change a material’s settings, right-click on the material whose setting you want to change and work
from the context menu that is displayed.

Changing Material Names
1.
Right-click on the material whose name you want to change in the “Materials”
list.
A context menu appears.
2.
Select [Rename] to highlight the material name.
Enter the new name using the keyboard.
3.
When you have finished typing the name, press the [Enter] key to confirm it.
Copying Materials to the “Clips” list
1.
Right-click on the material you want to copy in the “Materials” list.
A context menu appears.
2.
Select [Copy].
3.
Right-click on the location in the “Clips” list where you want to paste the clip
copied in the “Materials” list.
A context menu appears.
4.
Select [Paste].
The copy of the material is assigned to that location.
Deleting Materials
1.
Right-click on the material you want to delete in the “Materials” list.
A context menu appears.
2.
Select [Delete].
The material is completely deleted from the hard disk drive.
This procedure completely removes the material from the hard disk drive; always confirm that
you indeed want to delete the material before you delete it.

On the PR-1000HD, it may be
that material used in a project
is also used by another project.
For this reason, the following
phenomena will occur.
• Even if you delete a project,
the free space on the disk
will not increase by an
amount equivalent to the
size of the project that was
deleted.
• Even if you delete a project,
material that is also used by
another project will not be
deleted.
