Introduction to Use of the PR-1000HD —
Creating and Opening Projects

Opening Projects
This opens projects already saved to the PR-1000HD.
1.
Click the “Open” button in the upper part of the Play Mode screen (p. 38) or Edit
Mode screen (p. 41).
The “Open” dialog appears.

Select the drive containing the project from the “Drives” list.
3.
Select the desired project from the “Projects” list.
The information for the selected project appears at the right.
4.
Click the [Open] button.
The selected project opens.
If you select [Cancel], the selection is no longer highlighted, and the original screen returns to the
display.

To Copy or Delete a Project.
These operations are performed in the Utility window (p. 44). For details on the Utility window, refer
to “Organizing Projects” (p. 84).
If you’ve connected two
removable hard disk drive units,
the unit connected to removable
hard disk drive bay (1) is shown
in the upper position within the
“Drives” list, while the unit
connected to removable hard
disk drive bay (2) appears
below it.

On the PR-1000HD, it may be
that material used in a project
is also used by another project.
For this reason, the following
phenomena will occur.
• Even if you delete a project,
the free space on the disk
will not increase by an
amount equivalent to the
size of the project that was
deleted.
• Even if you delete a project,
material that is also used by
another project will not be
deleted.
