Removing a Removable Hard Disk Drive Unit

Turn off the power.
Before removing or inserting a removable hard disk drive unit, you must turn off the power of
the PR-1000HD.

2. Release the lock.
In order to remove a rthe HDD series unit from the PR-1000HD, you must release the lock. Insert
the included key in the location shown, and turn it counterclockwise.

Lift the handle and pull out the removable hard disk drive unit.
Pull up the handle of the HDD series unit as shown in the illustration, and pull the unit straight
out.
* The handle will not lift up unless you release the lock as described in step 2.

The PR-1000HD's Utility window lets you verify, check, or initialize hard disk drives. For details, refer
to “Utility” (p. 44).
