About the Removable Hard Disk Drive Units

 

■

 

Instructions for Installing the Removable Hard 
Disk Drive Unit

 

1.

 

Turn off the power.

 

Before removing or inserting a removable hard disk  drive unit, you must turn off the power of 
the PR-1000HD.

 

2.

 

Lift the handle and insert the removable hard disk drive unit.

 

Insert it into the removable hard disk drive bay with the connector of the HDD series unit 
pointing inward.

 

3.

 

Press the area shown in the illustration to push the unit all the way into the bay.

 

Press the location shown in the illustration. When you push the HDD series unit all the way in, 
the handle will fold.

 

4.

 

Lock the unit.

 

After inserting the HDD series unit into the PR-1000HD, lock it so that the unit does not come out. 
Insert the included key into the lock, and turn it clockwise. Once again, check that the unit was 
inserted correctly.

You will be unable to lock it if the HDD series unit was not inserted correctly. Push the HDD series unit 
all the way in as described in step 3.

*

If you fail to lock the unit, the removable hard disk drive will not be detected when the PR-1000HD is started 
up.
