your right and left arrow keys to highlight the hour, minute, second, or
AM/PM. Then, use the up and down arrow keys to change the selected
entry.
Power down after (Alt + P).
To conserve battery power, your DynaWrite
device can be set to dim the screen and go into a low power state (power
save mode) after it has not been used for a specific period of time.
The
Power down after
combo box offers four settings. This feature can be
set to one minute, five minutes, thirty minutes, or set to never power down.
When this combo box is active, use your keyboard’s up and down arrow
keys to highlight the most appropriate option.
Battery level.
The
Battery level
progress bar helps you monitor battery life
by showing you how much of your device’s battery power has been used up.
For more information about your DynaWrite battery, please refer to
Appendix B
.
Available memory.
The
Available memory
group box displays the amount
of RAM and Flash memory that is in use and the total amount of each that is
available.
Screen Contrast Up (Alt + U).
Each time you select the
Up
button in the
Screen Contrast
group box, the screen contrast will intensify.
Screen Contrast Down (Alt + W).
Each time you select the
Down
button in
the
Screen Contrast
group box, the screen contrast will fade.
Enable (Alt + E).
The
Enable
check box is included in the
Password
group
box of this menu. When this check box is selected, password protection will
be activated on your DynaWrite device. If password protection is active, you
will need to enter your password when you initially turn on your device and
when you attempt to reach a menu from the Message Window. You will also
be prompted to enter your password if the device is turned back on after a
low power state that occurred while you were in a menu.
Set Password (Alt + S).
The
Set Password
button is located in the
Password
group box of this menu. Selecting this button opens a window with a text
box where you may enter the password you have selected. This window
