Menus

DynaWrite Reference Guide

Delete (Alt + D).

Selecting the

Delete

button erases the currently highlighted

directory or file. When this button is selected, a confirmation window will
appear, asking you to confirm that you want to delete the item. Be careful, once
a file is deleted, you cannot get it back.

Rename (Alt + R).

This button allows you to give a new name to the currently

highlighted directory or file.

New Dir (Alt + N).

This button creates a new directory in the

Files

list box.

The new directory folder will appear with an active text box for the new
directory name.

Copy (Alt + Y).

Selecting the

Copy

button makes a duplicate of the currently

highlighted file.

Transfer (Alt + T).

The

Transfer

button enables you to transfer specific

DynaWrite text files to a computer through a serial cable connection.

Receive (Alt + V).

The

Receive

button enables you to receive DynaWrite text

files from a computer through a serial cable connection.

Print (Alt + P).

Selecting this button allows you to send DynaWrite text files to

a printer through a USB or serial cable connection.

Close (Alt + C).

This button closes the

File Manager

menu and returns you to

the

Tools

menu.
