Drywall
a) This tool can be used to cut sheets of drywall but with certain limitations. Use it only
to make cuts and always connect it to a dust extraction device while you are working.
The dust can affect how the blade guard works.
8. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING
Remove the plug from the wall outlet before cleaning or doing maintenance
work on the tool.
8.1 Cleaning
a) Keep protectors, ventilation holes and the motor body as free of dust and dirt as possible.
b) Wipe the tool with a clean cloth or use low-pressure compressed air.
c) Clean the tool immediately after each use.
d) Do not use any cleaning products or solvents that could damage the plastic parts.
Make sure water does not get inside the tool.
8.2 Using / Changing the Cutting Tool (SEE FIGURE8.2)
WARNING (SEE FIGURE 8.2 B,C,D)
Wear gloves to prevent cuts.
Do not use under any circumstances abrasive wheels.
Observations:
1. Use only cutting tools that meet the technical specifications of this power tool.
2. Always bear in mind the turning direction of the power tool. The direction of the
arrow on the cutting tool should coincide with the arrow on the body of the device.
a) Move the cutting depth adjustment lever (3) to the highest setting.
b) Insert the 3-mm hex socket wrench (16) into the internal hex head bolt (13) on the
right side of the body to block the internal shaft.
c) Insert the 5-mm hex wrench (15) into the internal hex head bolt and loosen it by
turning the wrench clockwise.
d) Remove the bolt and set it aside with the flange.
e) Press down on the release lever (12) and hold it down.
f) Raise the blade guard (2) and hold it in this position.
h) Change the cutting tool. Take the blade off the arbour.
g) Insert another cutting tool.
h) Check to make sure the new cutting tool is properly inserted on the arbour.
i) Lower the blade guard so it is in the original position.
j) Insert the 3-mm hex socket wrench (16) into the internal hex head bolt (13) on the
right side of the body to block the internal shaft.
k) Use the 5-mm hex wrench (15) to tighten the internal hex head bolt on the left side.
8.3 Changing the Power Cable
If the power cable of this power tool is damaged, it should only be replaced by the
manufacturer, the after-sales service or by a qualified person to prevent risks.
8.4 Carbon Brushes
If there are too many sparks, have the carbon brushes checked by an electrician. Be
careful! Only an electrician can replace carbon brushes.
8.5 Maintenance
There are no other parts inside the device that require maintenance.
9. STORAGE
When the tool is not in use, store it in a dry, well-ventilated place out of reach of
children, such as a high cupboard or a closed space.
WARRANTY
This product is covered by a warranty against manufacturing defects subject to the
time periods stipulated by the legislation in force in each country.
This warranty does not cover damages resulting from inadequate use, negligent
commercial use, abnormal wear and tear, accidents or improper handling.
