The left and right bearing of the differential are also preloaded. Wear of the bearing can result in axial play of the

big bevel gear. This can reduce the bearing pre-tightening force. Therefore inspection shall be performed

periodically (at level-3 maintenance). Adjustment: Tighten the left and right adjusting nuts so that the axial

pressure on the bearing is maintained at approximately 350N.
