Engine startup procedure
Important:
Prior to startup of the engine, ensure that the main/range shift levers and front drive control lever are at
neutral position, and the distributor control lever is at non-working (neutral) position to avoid sudden
startup of the tractor resulting in accidental risks.
4.3.2.1.Starting battery:
(1)
Starting at room temperature (above -5
℃
): Turn the
key in clockwise direction to "ON" position to connect
the circuit, and then turn the key to "ST" position to
start the engine; after that, the key returns to "ON"
position automatically. If it is equipped with a safe
startup switch, first depress the main clutch pedal, and
then turn the key to start the engine.
(2)
Warm-up starting (only applicable to the model with
warm-up circuit):
a.
Insert the key into the ignition lock, and turn it in clockwise direction to the ignition position (ON) to connect
the warm-up circuit:
If the atmospheric temperature is above 5
℃
, the indicator light is not on and the controller does not work, so the
key can be turned to starting position (ST) to start the engine directly.
If the atmospheric temperature is below 5
℃
, the indicator light comes on, and the controller starts working; at this
moment, the glow plug is powered for warming up;
b.
The warm-up time of the glow plug is related to the battery voltage, and is usually about 30s. After warm-up
is finished, the indicator light flashes at frequency of 1 time/s, and the engine is ready to start;
c.
When the indicator light flashes at frequency of 1 time/s, turn the key to the starting position (the minimum
voltage of the battery should not be lower than 6.5V) so that the indicator light comes on and the fuel solenoid
valve is open for fuel supply; if the key is not turned to the starting position when the indicator light flashes,
the preheating device stops working after the indicator light flashes for 30s;
d.
After successful startup, the controller will activate subsequent warm-up process automatically, and the
subsequent warm-up process lasts for 60
~
140s, and is judged based on atmospheric temperature.
(3)
Low-temperature starting (only applicable to the model without warm-up circuit):
