Assign metric to an interface for use with IPv6 information.
Syntax

Dell Force10 recommends configuring metrics on all interfaces. Without configuring this command,
the IS-IS metrics are similar to hop-count metrics.

links in the network to other destinations.
You can configure this metric for Level 1 or Level 2 routing.

to configure the shortest path first (SPF) calculation for
Level 1 (intra-area) routing.
This is the default.

(OPTIONAL) Enter

to configure the SPF calculation for Level 2 (inter-area)
routing.
