Ethernet Tests

The following entries explain the purpose, test commands, and
error messages for each individual Ethernet test.

Registers Test

The registers test performs a read/write operation on the
Ethernet register. To run the registers test, type t x01, where x
represents the unit number of the Ethernet controller you want
to test, and press Return.

Registers test parameters and error codes

In registers test error messages, P1 indicates the last value
that was read from CSR0.

Table F-34 lists the error codes used in registers test error
messages.
