SCSI controller displays
To display a SCSI controller configuration, type cnfg slot, where
you replace slot with the slot number of the SCSI controller for
which you want a configuration display, and press Return.
The following is a sample SCSI controller configuration display
for a SCSI bus with two hard disk drives, one tape drive, and
one optical compact disc drive:

In the SCSI configuration display, the first line has the same
meaning as the SCSI description in the general system
configuration display. For an explanation of this first line,
refer to ‘‘General system configuration display’’ earlier in this
section.
Lines following the first line describe drives on the SCSI bus.
DEV lists the general category of the drive and its SCSI
ID.
rz indicates that the drive is a hard disk or optical
compact disc drive.
tz indicates that the drive is a tape drive.
The number at the end of the entry is the drive SCSI
ID.
PID lists the product ID for some types of drives.
The term on the left is the specific drive type.
The term on the right describes the product
manufacturer.
VID lists the drive vendor.
