Serial Line Transmit and Receive Test
The serial line transmit and receive test checks the ability of
the serial line controller to receive and transmit characters. To
run the serial line transmit and receive test, type t 7/dz/tx-rx
[loopback] [line] and press Return.
When you type the serial line transmit and receive test
command,
Replace the optional loopback parameter with a value that
specifies the type of test you want to run.
Specify intl to run an internal loopback test.
Specify extl to run an external loopback test.
Replace the optional line parameter with a value that
specifies the line you want to test.
Specify 0 to test the keyboard serial line.
Specify 1 to test the mouse serial line.
Specify 2 to test the right communications serial line.
Specify 3 to test the left communications serial line.)
Serial line transmit and receive test error messages
Serial line transmit and receive test error messages have the
form ?TFL: 7/dz/tx-rx ( description)
?TFL 7/dz/tx-rz indicates that the serial in transmit and
receive test reported an error.
description represents additional information that describes
the failure.
