4. Installation
4.5 Apparatus Levelling
•
After all accessories are installed, move the apparatus to its final position.
•
Before apparatus levelling, inspect whether the surface of the experimental
workbench on which the apparatus is to be installed is level and completely
horizontal.
•
Use a cassette level gauge to determine the highest point of the workbench,
regulate each stand bar based on actual needs, and level the apparatus.
•
The operation methods are as follows:
•
The height of all of the four apparatus stand bars is adjustable. During the
adjustment, use a monkey wrench (16) to release the stand bar and fasten
the hexagon nut (14) (see Fig. 9).
•
Place the cassette level gauge at four positions of the slide stainer: A, B, C
and D (see Fig. 10).
•
Screw the apparatus stand bars inwards / outwards according to actual needs
to adjust the screw nut (15), and gradually adjust the apparatus to the
horizontal level. Start the adjustment from the apparatus stand bar opposite
to the highest point of the experimental workbench.
•
After the end of the adjustment, use the cassette level gauge to successively
examine the horizontal status of the four positions: A, B, C and D. After
confirming that the positions are horizontal, use a monkey wrench to tightly
fix the stand bar and hexagon nut (14).
