FRP 27: Power Supply Fuse Replacement

Each module power supply contains two 15-A fuses. You may replace the fuses
while power is still applied to the rest of the cabinet, as described in the following
procedure.

Part Number

01158809 (fuse, ceramic 250V 15 amp)

Tools Required

•

Small flatblade screwdriver

•

Multimeter (ohmmeter)

Fuse Replacement

1.

Open the front cabinet door.

2.

Identify the failed module power supply.

3.

Open the circuit breaker for that module power supply, and disconnect the
power cord where it plugs into the power supply.

4.

Remove the fuses, one at a time, and check for continuity with an
ohmmeter. (Use a flatblade screwdriver to remove the fuse and fuse cap.)

shows the locations of the fuses.

5.

Install the replacement fuse(s). (Ensure that replacement fuses meet the
required specifications.)

6.

Reconnect the power cord to the power supply, close the circuit breaker
for this power supply, and press the Restart switch to enable power to this
power supply.
