Gigabit Ethernet Network Modules
The Gigabit Ethernet network module provides single-port Gigabit Ethernet connectivity through an
installed Gigabit interface converter (GBIC). The GBIC determines the type of connectivity available to
the network module. (See
Figure 21-1
.)
