Cleaning, Inspection, and Repair

For "Cleaning and Inspection", and “ Oil

Seal Replacement” , use same procedure de

scribed for Clark Remote Control Assembly.

Bushing Replacement

1. Press or drive shift rail yoke bushing out

of bore in shift rail yoke (9, fig. 4).

2. Using a suitable sleeve, press or drive

new bushing into bore of shift yoke.

Assembly

Assemble the remote control assembly in re

verse order of disassembly, referring to figure 5.

1. Remove lockwire and lock screw (18), then

remove shifter shaft (5) and selector finger (16)

from remote control housing (7).

2. Remove attaching parts holding shifter shaft

collar (4) to shifter shaft (5), then remove shifter

shaft collar.
