Possible Cause
Improper sprayer pump settings for
current spraying condition.
Oil cooler capacity is too small for
this application.
Low oil level in tractor.
Tractor hydraulic pump is not
delivering consistent oil flow and
pressure.
Faulty 3 port Flow Control valve.
NORAC Auto boom height
controller sensitivity is set to high
and forcing hydraulic pressure to be
higherand changing more than it
needs to be.
Possible Solutions
Lower pump deadhead pressure.
Increase agitation.
This will in most cases lower the
hydraulic pressure and thus reduce
heat generation.
Install larger more efficient oil
cooler on tractor.
Fill with hydraulic oil.
Replace hydraulic filter.
Check hydraulic pump capacity and
replace if necessary.
Check hydraulic control system and
replace if necessary.
Replace valve.
Lower sensitivity setting in
Controller.
Problem
Tractor Oil Temperature is
Overheating (con’t)
Sprayer pump speed is fluctuation.
