6.12 100’ BOOM TIP IS OPERATING TOO FAST.
The Tees which were installed on the Outer Boom Fold Cylinder have been installed in the wrong place. They
must be installed between the elbow in the cylinder and the restrictor fitting in the hose. This way the oil is restricted
to both the Outer Boom Fold cylinder and the Tip Fold cylinder. Make sure the One Way Restrictor fitting has
been installed with the arrow pointing toward the rod end of the cylinder.

6.11 OUTER BOOM IS MOVING AT THE WRONG SPEED.
If the Outer Boom is unfolding into field
position very fast and folding into transport
position very slow, the One Way Restrictor
fitting in the rod end of the Outer Boom Fold
cylinder has been installed in the wrong
direction. The arrow on the restrictor must
be pointing toward the rod end of the
cylinder as shown in Fig. 6.14.
If the arrow on the Restrictor is pointing
toward the base end of the cylinder, remove
the restrictor fitting and turn it around, so it
points toward the rod end.
