Fig. 3.2 shows the electric control for the Suspended Boom hydraulics.
The toggle switch on the top of the control is for the optional foam marker.
The top two switches activate the optional Auto Boom Height Control. The Manual (Fold) switch has a second
purpose. It is used in conjunction with the middle four switches to fold and unfold the booms.
The second set of switches control the Left Boom Tilt Down and Up cylinder on the left boom. When used with
the Manual (Fold) switch, they control the Inner Boom Fold cylinders.
The third set of switches control the Right Boom Tilt Down and Up cylinder on the right boom. When used with the
Manual (Fold) switch, they control the Outer Boom Fold cylinders.
The bottom set of switches control Boom Lift cylinders which are mounted between the trailer and the Centre
Boom. They control the up and down movement of the complete boom.
