5.3 ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
5.3.1 CHECK OR CLEAN DAILY (Every 10 hours)
1. Check the main tank and the mix and fill tank, clean if necessary. Refer to Section 5.4, General Tank Cleaning.
2. Clean nozzle strainer and line strainer, refer to Section 5.5, Nozzle Cleaning and Section 5.6, Line Strainer
Cleaning.
3. Check and/or clean nozzles. Refer to Section 5.5, Nozzle Cleaning.
5.3.2 LUBRICATE AND CHECK DAILY (Every 10 hours)
1. Main Boom Pins and Inner Boom Hinges
2. Check the plumbing assembly for leaks. Remove and reseal if required.
3. Check the hose connections. Tighten any loose clamps.
4. Visually inspect the wheel bolts for looseness. Torque them to 325 ft-lbs. after the first 5 hours of operation and
frequently thereafter. Refer to Specifications Section.
5.3.3 LUBRICATE WEEKLY (Every 50 hours)
1. Platform Pivot Pin
2. Centre Boom Parallel Link Arms
3. Outer Boom Hinge Pins
4. Tip Hinge Pins
5. Outer Extension Hinge Pins (100’ Boom only)
5.3.4 CHECK AND LUBRICATE ANNUALLY (Every 100 hours)
1. Wheel Bearing Tightness. Repack if necessary.
2. Tire air pressure.
3. Perform all daily and weekly maintenance items.
4. Recharge the Hydraulic Accumulators attached to the Hydraulic Block to 650 psi on sprayers without Wind
Screens.
5. Recharge the Hydraulic Accumulators attached to the Hydraulic Block to 1500 psi on sprayers with Wind
Screens.
6. Recharge the Hydraulic Accumulators in the Suspension Cylinders to 650 psi on sprayers equipped with
Trailer Suspension.
5.3.5 CHANGE BI-ANNUALLY (Every 200 hours)
1. Change the hydraulic filter in the Valve Block. (See section 5.8)
