The tractor hydraulic system must be capable of:
Closed Centre Tractor (PC or LS) .................................... 14 gpm @ 2100 psi using the Ace 206 pump
........................................................................................ or Hypro 93073C HM-4 pump.
Open Centre Tractor (with flow less than 23 gpm) ............. 14-23 gpm @ 2100 psi using the 206 pump
........................................................................................ or Hypro 93073C HM-4 pump.
Open Centre Tractor (with flow less than 31 gpm) ............. 23-31 gpm @ 2100 psi using the 310 pump
........................................................................................ or Hypro 93074C HM-1 pump.
NOTE
Contact the factory for special chemical pumps for use with high flow open centre systems.
Refer to Pump Manual for instructions on setting the restrictor and bypass screw and/or placement of the
restrictor orifice for hydraulic driven centrifugal pumps.
NOTE
Tractors that have a open centre hydraulic system must have the Open Centre Tractor Hydraulic kit installed
(Brandt part no. C005974). See section 3.5.2 of this manual. Tractors that have a load sensing hydraulic
system may require the Load Sensing Solenoid Valve kit installed in the boom control hydraulic block (Brandt
part no. C002975). See section 3.5.3 of this manual.
3. Electrical:
A 12 VDC, 10 amp power source in the cab must be provided to operate the in-cab control. The in-cab
control operates the ball valves and regulating valve in the chemical circuit.
The Boom Control system requires 8.5 amps @ 12 VDC with a 15 amp maximum.
The Foam Marker can require up to 30 amps @ 12 VDC (depending on the marker).
The Auto Boom Height Control system requires 5 amps @ 12 VDC.
The Trailer Suspension system requires 6 amps @ 12 VDC, intermittently.
** Boom speed may be reduced when using the Auto Boom Height Control Kit.
