Possible Solutions
Adjust boom height.
Change nozzle tips to ensure sufficient
pressure.
Adjust boom height.
Spray pressures in excess of 310 kPa
(45 psi) cause excessive spray drift.
Discontinue spraying and wait for
more suitable conditions.
Problem
Poor spray overlap.
Visible spray drift.
Possible Causes
Incorrect nozzle height.
Pressure too low.
Incorrect nozzle height.
Excessive pressure.
Poor spraying conditions.
Problem
Boom hydraulics do not activate.
Inner booms will stop part way in their
travel when folding into transport.
Possible Causes
Tractor hydraulic lever not
triggered.
Tractor lever engaged in wrong
direction.
Joystick harness not connected to cart
harness.
Low tractor output voltage.
Loose connections.
Corrosion on battery terminal.
One or both hydraulic couplers are not
connected.
Plugged filter in hydraulic block.
Fuse blown.
Debris is plugging orifices in
Inner Fold cylinders.
Possible Solutions
Engage lever.
Reverse lever.
Check harness and connect.
Check tractor voltage. The suspended
boom sprayer requires a minimum of
12 volts at the joystick.
Check all connections.
Check and clean battery terminals.
Check hydraulic coupler connections.
Change filter. See Section 5.8.
Replace fuse.
Fold the inner booms by activating the
hydraulics until the boom(s) stop
moving. Release the switch to stop
the flow of oil. Disengage the hydraulic
lever. Remove the orifice fitting(s) in
the ROD end of the Inner Fold cylinder
and remove the debris which is
plugging the orifice.
