Boolean Instructions
The Not instruction inverts the status of
the rung at the point of the instruction.
In the following example when X1 is off, Y2 will energize. This is because the Not
instruction inverts the status of the rung at the Not instruction.

The Positive Differential instruction is
typically known as a one shot. When the
input logic produces an off to on
transition, the output will energize for one
CPU scan.
