When the Leakage-HI trip limit is set to 0, S2 is placed in position 2 which
disables the earth leakage test and connects the neutral of the DUT input to the
ground of the DUT.

03 Hipot/Ground Bond Interconnect

This option gives the 620L the capability to interface with an Associated
Research Hipot or Ground Bond tester. Three (3) additional input ports (HV,
Return, and CASE) and one (1) additional output port (Current) are added to the
back panel of the instrument, which should be used to connect the safety tester
to the 620L. For more information on the HV, Return, CASE, and Current
connections, please refer to section

3.2.2. Rear Panel Controls

.

The operator must also connect the included communication cables to the
Remote

Signal I/O’s of both the 620L and the electrical safety tester. These

cables will provide the communication path for the instruments to function
together.

With this option installed, the 620L and the electrical safety tester will operate in
a master/slave configuration. The test will be initiated from the front panel TEST
button of the 620L. Once the test is complete, the 620L will send a signal to the
electrical safety tester to begin any subsequent tests.
