Uploading a Job from the Panel,

Step 1. Set Panel and PC 
Baud Rates to 19,200, 

continued

4.

Set these parameters as follows:

•

Port.  Set this radio button to the setting that corresponds to the serial port to which 
the serial cable will be connected.  In most cases, this will be COM1.

•

Baud Rate.  Set to 19,200.

•

Parity.  Set to None.

•

Stop Bits.  Set to 1.

•

Data Bits.  Set to 8.

Step 2.  Connect Serial 
Cable between PC and 
Panel

Connect a serial cable, Part No. 431206, between a free serial port on the service PC and the 
service port of the AUTOPULSE Z-28 FACP.

Locate the PC within 6 feet of the AUTOPULSE Z-28 FACP and connect the end shown 
in Figure 4-10 to the PC.

2.

Connect the other end to the service port on the AUTOPULSE Z-28 FACP. Make sure that 
the red stripe is aligned to the left as you connect the cable.
