Building and Configuring Hazard Areas

Overview

This section describes how to create and configure hazard areas. Building a hazard area 
consists of assigning point types to the hazard area, at which point the programmer places each 
point in its respective branch of the hazard area. Configuring a hazard area consists of setting 
various options, from dual-detector operation to agent release delay durations.

Assigning Point Types

Table C-3, below, identifies the device and point types that apply to different components of 
each hazard area.

Drag and drop the appropriate points from the Points list to the appropriate hazard area title. 
The points will automatically be placed under the correct branches of the hazard area.

Notes:  

•

Do not attempt to drag a point to a branch of a hazard area; simply drag it to the hazard 
area title.
