Enabling the Suppression Release Option

Enabling the Suppression Release option in the panel allows for editing of hazard areas and for
general suppression configuration to occur. If this option is not selected, hazard area operation
will not be transferred to the panel.

To enable Suppression Release operation for the AUTOPULSE Z-28,

1.

Click on the Panel tab and click the System Options radio button in the box to the right of
the splitter bar.

2.

Check the Suppression Release checkbox. A new tab will appear in the rightmost tab spot
called Suppression Release.

IMPORTANT: Set the Depleted Battery Cut Out Timer system option to ON for
suppression release systems.

Note: Suppression point types must be selected and hazard groups must be populated (as
described in the remainder of this appendix) for suppression release operation to function.

The rest of this chapter discusses the details of the Suppression Release tab.
