4.4 Storage and Transportation

4.4.1

Packaging

When re-packing the MD8470A, use the packing materials that were used

at shipment. If you use any other packing materials, perform the fol-

lowing steps:

[Procedure]

Wrap the MD8470A with a plastic bag, etc.

Prepare a cardboard box, wooden box, or aluminum case large

enough to contain cushioning material around all sides of the

MD8470A.

Put the MD8470A inside the container or carton with cushioning ma-

terial on each side of the MD8470A to absorb impact during transpor-

tation and keep it from moving inside of the container.

Firmly seal the container or carton with packing string, adhesive

tape, bands, etc.
