2.3.12 RS-232C connector

The

RS-232C

connector located on the rear panel of the MD8470A is a 9-

pin D-Sub (female) connector for connecting to an external PC, etc.

The rear panel of the MD8470A has the

Call Proc Serial I/O

connectors

which are identical 9-pin D-Sub connectors (female). Check the connec-

tor labels when connecting and be careful so as not to connect to the

wrong connection point.
