2.3 Connection

This section describes the protective grounding method and how to install

each cord.

2.3.1

Connecting power cable

Check that the main power switch located on the rear panel is turned off

before connecting the power cord.

[Procedure]

1.

Check that the main power switch located on the rear panel is turned

off.

2.

Insert the power cord into the power inlet on the rear panel.

3.

Insert the power-cord plug into the power outlet.

2.3.2

Checking power voltage

CAUTION 

Use the MD8470A in the power voltage range indicated

below to operate the MD8470A normally.  Electric shock,

fire, accidents and malfunctions may occur when power

voltages other than the following are used.
