Reference oscillator frequency calibration

This section describes the calibration method for the reference oscillator

frequency using the frequency counter. The 10 MHz reference oscillator

stability for the MD8470A is

/day. For frequency standard in-

strument, use a standard signal generator, which receives standard radio

wave of higher stability or sub-carrier of color TV broadcasting (signal

locked to the rubidium atomic standard instrument) and generates sig-

nals locked to this frequency standard instrument.
