Call processing serial connectors

The

Call Proc Serial I/O A

connectors located on the rear panel of the

MD8470A are 9-pin D-Sub (female) connectors to execute communication

tests between the MD8470A and UE. The MD8470A comes with Slots A

to D for attaching a signalling unit, and each A to D connector corre-

sponds to Slots A to D of the MD8470A, respectively.

Refer to the Operation Manual of the simulation kit for detailed use of the

Call Proc Serial I/O A

connectors.

The rear panel of the MD8470A has the

RS-232C

connector, which is an

identical 9-pin D-Sub connector (female). Check the connector labels

when connecting and be careful so as not to connect to the wrong connec-

tion point.
