3.1 Power On

CAUTION

Switch power on when this equipment is sufficiently dry.

Use of this equipment at room temperature immediately af-

ter having used it in a low temperature environment for a

long period of time causes water droplets to form on it, re-

sulting in short circuits, and may result in breakdowns.

Turn both main power switch on the rear panel and the power switch on

the front panel On to turn the MD8470A on.

[Procedure]

First, press the main power switch located on the rear panel to turn

to On. The standby lamp (Stby) on the front panel lights up. The

standby lamp means that the main power switch is turned on.

Stby On

When using the keyboard and mouse (standard accessory), connect

them to the rear panel of the MD8470A before turning the MD8470A

On.

Press the power switch on the front panel for one second or longer to

switch On. Turning the power on shuts the standby lamp (Stby) Off

and lights up the power on (On) lamp.
