CAUTION
Avoid using the MD8470A in the following locations in or-
der to avoid fire, personal injuries or equipment failures.
•
Unstable locations
Do not place it in unstable locations where there is vibra-
tion, on top of shaky stands or where there is an incline.
Doing so may cause the MD8470A to collapse and fall
down, or be dropped and cause injury.
•
Humid and dusty locations
Do not place it in humid and dusty locations. Circuits
may short due to water droplets and dust adhering to the
MD8470A, etc., and may cause fire, electric shock or ac-
cidents to occur.
•
Locations with high temperatures
Do not place it in locations that are exposed to direct
sunlight or locations with high temperatures. Internal
temperatures may rise and cause fire or accidents to oc-
cur.
•
Locations where exposed to active gasses
Do not place it in locations where the MD8470A may be
exposed to active gasses. This may cause fire or acci-
dents due to damage to the device, etc.
•
Locations with Severe Temperature Changes
Do not place it in locations with severe temperature
changes. Add power after sufficiently drying the
MD8470A when using it in locations above room tem-
perature after having used it in a location with low tem-
peratures for a long period of time. Circuits may short
due to water droplets and dust adhering to the MD8470A,
etc., and may cause fire, electric shock or accidents to
occur.
