Maintenance
This section describes service procedures that are to be carried out at
regular intervals.
6.1
Weekly maintenance
The following weekly maintenance steps take about 30 minutes to com-
plete.
6.2
Six-monthly maintenance:
Replacing all pump tubes
We recommend that you replace all pump tubes and clean and lubri-
cate the pump head on a regular basis every half year.
Warning
The oxidation reagent contains sodium persulfate. The reagent is cor-
rosive and irritates skin and eyes. Avoid any contact when handling the
reagent. Wear suitable protective gloves and goggles.
Take care not to spill any reagent solution when detaching the PTFE
tubes from the pump tubes. Wipe up spilled reagent solution with water
and mop dry.

Check that the quantity of reagent solution is adequate. Re-
plenish the reagent solution if necessary.

Check the gas supply and supply pressure.

Check that the quantity of calibration solution is adequate. Re-
plenish the calibration solution if necessary.

Check all PTFE tubes for blockage or potential problems due
to deposits or contamination.
5
Manually carry out zeroing and calibration.
