Setting the nominal alarm values
The sensor alarm indicates a communication fault between the sensor
and the analyzer. This alarm is also activated if the values during the
last 30 seconds of zeroing or calibration lie outside of the specified
dead band (hysteresis). Each alarm has a separate relay output.
Proceed as follows to set up an alarm:

Press the ENTER/MENU key. The MAIN MENU appears on
the display.

Press F2. The ALARMS SETUP menu appears.

The nominal value for Alarm 1 is highlighted.

Set the nominal value with the UP/DOWN keys.

Press F1. The setting for Alarm 1 (OFF, LOW (lower limiting
value) or HI (upper limiting value)) appears.

Set as required with the UP/DOWN keys.

Press F1 again. The dead band percentage (hysteresis) ap-
pears.

Set the required hysteresis (2.5 %, 5 % or 10 %) with the UP/
DOWN keys.

Press F2. Now set the values for Alarm 2 as described above.

Return to measurement: Press the ENTER/MENU key until the
measuring value display appears.
