Method
1. Place the desiccated coconut in a dish.
2. Place the dish inside the oven cavity.
3. Select Auto Cook Category “Desserts – dE 19”.
4. Select number of servings by pressing “Serves 2 / 3 / 4”.

Press start.
6. Stir the coconut when the oven starts to beep. Press start.
7. Remove when the oven beeps again.
8. Place the khoya in a dish.
9. Place the dish inside the oven cavity.
10. Mix and press start.
11. Stir when the oven starts to beep.
12. Remove when the oven beeps again.
13. In another bowl, pour the water. Mix in the sugar, colour.
14. Place the dish inside the oven cavity.
15. Press start.
16. Stir when the oven starts to beep. Press start.
17. Remove from the oven when “END” is displayed.
18. Mix in the essence, coconut and khoya while the syrup is still hot. Stir well, to
avoid the formation of lumps using a wooden spoon.
19. Spread evenly onto a greased thali. Garnish with slivered pistachios.
20. Allow to set at room temperature for 2 – 3 hours, cut into burfis and serve.
Note:
1. The burfis may be stored covered in an airtight container in the refrigerator
for up to a week.
