6 Operation
1. When the start menu is active: Select the patient group with
the navigation knob.
Alternatively:
If the timer has expired: The device automatically selects the
Adult
patient group.
Risk of injury due to incorrectly selected patient group!
If the wrong patient group is selected, the shock energy may be
insufficient or too high for the selected patient group and may
injure the patient.
Adapt the patient group to the patient.
If the patient group is incorrect: Change the patient group in
the application menu.
