Backup Battery (Lithium)

Some components on PCB’s are static sensitive. It is recommended

that static discharge precautions be observed when working in and

around the FoxJet controller and when handling FoxJet printed

circuit boards.

New battery must be installed before old battery is disconnected or

all saved data in RAM will be lost.

1. Measure new battery voltage. Should be at least 4.0 VDC.

2. Connect battery to unused connector on battery interface board

on CPU.

3. Remove old battery.

4. Secure new battery.
