8.6 Using the threader

The cover is equipped with a needle threader, enabling you to thread the

thread through the eye of the needle more easily.

Risk of injury posed by unexpected start-up

The foot controller is on the floor. This can lead to the cover starting up

unexpectedly if the foot controller is activated by, for example, a child, a

sufficiently heavy pet, an object or accidental pressing by the user

themselves.

Always unplug the power plug before threading the thread.

Please proceed as follows:

Turn the

‹hand wheel›

forwards (towards you) until the needle is in the

highest position.

Lower the presser foot completely by setting the

‹presser foot lifter›

the lowest position.
